DebateAble Online Clubs bring kids together in small groups to learn to debate. Guided by dedicated, experienced coaches, debaters have fun playing games, debating relevant topics and growing critical thinking skills. 

World Schools Debate for 6th - 8th graders
This session will be led by a national World Schools Debate competitor!
World Schools Debate is a dynamic format combining “prepared” topics with “impromptu” topics, encouraging debaters to focus on specific issues rather than debate theory or procedural arguments. This highly interactive style of debate allows debaters to engage each other, even during speeches.  and will empower your child to engage in comprehensive, quality argumentation... and have a lot of fun along the way!

*Introduction to WSD, roles and format, including interjecting points of information (POIs).
*Daily skill-building lessons, activities and practice debates.
*Topic research, using an almanac to find good evidence.
*Capstone club debate round including all students.
*Recommendations for continued participation in World School Debate.
